It is my privilege to serve as Chairman of the MMNC Division for 2025/2026. I extend heartfelt thanks to our past Chairpersons for their exemplary leadership, and to the 2024/2025 Committee for strengthening our connections to the industry during our momentous 50th Anniversary. 

Embracing this year’s theme “Together we RISE, 同心同創” we commit to rising to new challenges, leaning on one another for support, and pioneering a worthy future. As a division spanning mechanical, marine, naval architecture, and chemical engineering, our interdisciplinary expertise positions us to support industry needs across diverse fronts. 

To empower members in overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities, we will continue delivering learning activities, technical visits, and seminars that elevate social awareness and spotlight cutting-edge engineering and technology trends. We will also organize Mainland and overseas technical visits to deepen global connections and equip members with an international perspective. 

For a future worthy of our society, we prioritize developing the next generation of engineers. Through early engagement with students, cross-disciplinary events with HKIE divisions and professional bodies, and signature programs like the Young Inventor Competition (YIC), Blue Tech STEM Initiative, and STEM x Marine Vehicles Design/Construction Competition, we will ignite young passion for engineering. 

Let us unite to pioneer a legacy where every member rises together. I eagerly anticipate collaborating with you all in the year ahead as we advance our shared growth and excellence.
