Programme Highlights
Eligible prospective candidates are now invited to apply for the HKACC UAS Pilot Certificate Program (“the Program”)
4th Cohort from the date of this notice until 18th February 2019.
Firstly introduced in 2016, the HKACC UAS Pilot Certificate Program is organized by the Technical & Operations Support
Wing (“TOS Wg”) of the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps (“HKACC”). The Program provides a comprehensive ground theory
and practical training for UAS operations on a non-profit making basis.
FeeHKACC Senior Member (21 of age or above at the application deadline.) $1200
HKACC Cadet Member (Below 21 of age at the application deadline.) $800
Supporting Organization* $1200 (Including member of MMNC division)
*An associate membership fees of HK$30, valid for 1 year, will be charged in addition to the course fee for non-HKACC applicants. (i.e. HKD$1230 inclusive).
The program fee is used to cover the program costs and non-refundable. Extra cost for the light-quadcopter for indoor training and other necessary equipment are required for the program (Approx. HK$700) at candidates’ own expenses. (The ordering procedure will be announced after accepted the placing offer.). Candidates should also note an additional charge of HK$200 for 2nd or subsequent attempts (i.e. re-examinations) for the written and practical examination (if granted).
LanguageThe Program will be conducted in Cantonese supplemented with English. Handouts will be written in English.

Applications lodged by other communication means, incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
If the applicant accepted the offer, a cheque made payable to “Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps” in the appropriate program fee amount should be submitted at the Compulsory Briefing Session which will tentatively be held on 2nd March 2019 (Saturday) from 14:00 to 16:00 hours at the University of Hong Kong (room number to be confirmed).
