Programme Highlights

As Registered Professional Engineers (Mechanical or Marine & Naval Architecture), there is an important role in various Hong Kong Government Regulation.

 

In this seminar, Mr. Mok Fu Yin, Occupational Safety Officer 1 from Labour Department, will introduce us the Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Lifting Appliances and Lifting Gear) Regulations, Cap. 59J, such as RPE role on tests and thorough examinations of lifting appliances and lifting gear as prescribed under the regulations to ensure safety and reliability. 

 

Furthermore, Mr. Mok will give a brief account of recent amendments on relevant code of practices.

This seminar is free of charge and prior registration is required. The number of participants is limited to 70. Applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis with priority given to members of MMNC Division. Only on-line registration via MMNC divisional website http://mc.hkie.org.hk/ shall be accepted for registration. Successful applicants will be notified individually.
