In this webinar, we are grateful to invite Matt Curthoys, to be our
speakers for the technical sharing.
Through the webinar, HKIE MMNC division would like to introduce our
members with covering the history of Windfarm Service Vessels (WFSV), the
unique influences on the design and operation of the WFSV’s and future trends
in the industry and the impact on future design and operation of the WFSV’s.
Speaker
Matt Curthoys is a Chartered Naval
Architect and founder of Pitchpole Asia Limited, a Hong Kong based Marine
Consultancy. With knowledge and
experience gained from over 25 years of active involvement in all aspects of
the design, construction and operational aspects of many different sectors of
the market, including renewables, yachts and marine infrastructure projects.
Prior to establishing Pitchpole Asia
Limited, Matt was the APAC Business Development Lead for BMT Specialised Ship
Design, formally BMT Nigel Gee and had been involved in the firm since
2007. Through this time Matt worked on
projects across many different sectors including the renewables, fast ferry and
superyacht projects. After moving to Hong Kong in 2016, commencing the Business
Development role with BMT there was a specific focus on renewables in the Asia
Market due to the remarkable growth in the Industry in the region.

on a first-come-first-served basis with priority given to members of MMNC
