Technical Seminar on Optimising Performance Management in Shipping and Marine Engineering

Programme Highlights
A ships performance is calculated by the efficient running of its machinery, hull, propellers, in line with overall safety and emission control. Good planning, improved management techniques and smart decisions are being adopted to get closer to the ideal performance operations. The aim of the presentation is to discuss and analyze specific styles of performance management met within the shipping sector, as well as the issues relate to performance management that shipping companies are facing in order to better understand the capabilities and challenges of the sector.

Speaker
Kaushik is SHEQ Manager, DPA, CSO at CESM, from MOL, London. He has a wide range of experience, predominantly on tankers of LNG, LPG, Ethylene, product and crude oils. He has Joint Venture LNG ship management company start-up experience in a Chinese state-owned shipping project (APLNG). He brought world’s first Green Award to LNG vessel and operator. He was involved in Argentina, Indonesia and Japan’s 1st LNG STS operations & commissioning of Tianjin, Dhabol and Adriatic-LNG terminals.

This seminar is free of charge and prior registration is required. The number of participants is limited to 50. Applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis (MMNC Division members will be given a higher priority).
