Programme Highlights
Located at the south-eastern tip of China, Hong Kong has a vista of landscapes, ranging from lofty mountains, steep hillslopes, silent wetlands, tingling brooks, over two hundred small outlying islands and the world-renowned Victoria Harbor. On a terrain only 1106 km2 in size, 40% of the land area is designated as country parks and nature reserves. Situated in the subtropics, Hong Kong is blessed with rich biodiversity and a variety of landscapes, providing its seven million inhabitants living in the bustling city a restorative environment with fresh air, vivid seasonal colors and inspiring sceneries.
