Programme Highlights
The air quality monitoring network comprises 16 fixed monitoring stations. The monitoring stations are designed and operated to meet the highest international standards. It is certified by the Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (HOKLAS) and has gained high regard from experts of overseas and the United Nations' Environmental Programme. It would be a precious opportunity for our members to appreciate the advanced engineering technologies and equipment which have gained widespread international recognition.

Central/Western Air Quality Monitoring Station (AQMS) is one of the 13 ambient AQMSs in EPD’s Air Quality Monitoring Network, located typically on rooftop of 4-6 storey buildings to monitor the air quality the general public is exposed to in daily life. Central Roadside Air Quality Monitoring Station (AQMS) is one of the 3 roadside AQMSs in EPD’s Air Quality Monitoring Network, located on busy road to monitor specifically the air quality for people who stay there for prolong period.
