The Standards and Calibration Laboratory (SCL) is responsible for maintaining the reference standards of physical measurements for Hong Kong. The SCL provides calibration services to users of measurement standards and measuring instruments to ensure its measurement accuracy and proper metrological traceability. The SCL also provides proficiency testing provider (PTP) services to laboratories in the testing and certification industry to illustrate their technical compliance.

The technical visit would introduce the available calibration service in Hong Kong to participant. Participant would have chance to appreciate the principle and practice of calibration service.

This number of participants is limited to 30 and applications would be accepted on a first-come-first- served basis. CPD certificates would be provided. For registration, please complete and return the online registration form at: mc.hkie.org.hk.
