Programme HighlightsOur division past chairman Ir CK Lee has been scuba diving since 1979 in Hong Kong. He is not only an enthusiastic diver in the past 40 years but also is a scuba diving instructor and photographer of benthic living organism with 10 years experiences on underwater photography. He obtained his professional qualification of photography Royal Photographic Society via his underwater photos. He visited and hopped around islands from pacific oceans, such as Tonga, Rangario of French Polynesia, Palau, Fiji, Yonaguni of Japan, Sipadan of Malaysia, Sangalaki, Raja Ampat Banda Sea Ambon Bali Lembeh Strait Manado of Indonesia, Tubbataha Puerto Galera Aniloa Cebu Malapascua Bohol of Philippine to Yongala wreck Great Barrier Reef of Australia, Maldives, etc to capture and document beautiful underwater marine life from microscopic sizes as Pygmy Seahorse of a toothpick size to adorable huge like Humpback Whale to arouse people’s awareness of the natural underwater world.
He is painful to witness environmental damages and heartbreaking to see the creatures vanishing, vanishing in his past 40 years diving experiences. Microscopic size creatures can be disappeared even no one notices.
In this seminar, Ir CK Lee will like to convey a message through the photos that underwater creatures were once existence in the world even many of us are not notice. He wish to present them to introduce the beauty of underwater marine life and habitats through the lens and raising public awareness of importance in conservation of our marine environment in the earth, the wonderful coastal ecology underwater. Members may appreciate the richness of aquatic world beyond our imagination.

Registration & EnquiriesThis seminar is free of charge and prior registration is required. The number of participants is limited to 70. Applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis with priority given to members of MMNC Division. Only on-line registration via MMNC divisional website http://mc.hkie.org.hk/ shall be accepted for registration. Attendance certificates will be issued after the event.
