safe operation of Daya Bay;
Video display and presentation; Exhibition
hall (display models of reactor, fuel assemblies and Daya Bay site); Simulation
room (briefing on training of plant operators); Daya Bay viewing platform
(overview of the power plant);
*Visit to Guangdong Grid Control Center,
subject to allowable schedule and traffic condition (to be confirmed).

Technical Visit to Guangzhou Pumped Storage
Power Station (26/10/2019)
General description and overview of the plant;
video display; Exhibition hall (display models of pumping and generating of
GPSPS, Generator and impeller assemblies etc); Site visit to lower reservoir,
plant room (Unit PS2 overhaul); control room and upper reservoir)

Participants shall pay for
transportation, accommodation and other related expenses for this visit

Registration & Enquiries
Prior on-line registration at MMNC Division
website http://mc.hkie.org.hk/ is required for this visit. The number of participants is limited to 20.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis with priority
given to members of MMNC Division. Further confirmation email with gathering
time and venue will be sent to the success applicants before the visit.
The visiting organisations require the
following information: your name in Chinese and English, gender, occupation,
date of birth, HK Identify Card Number, details of your valid PRC Re-entry
Permit or passport, and copy of PRC Re-entry Permit (both sides) / Passport
with visa.. The visiting organisations
may not be able to arrange the visit if the information and copy of Re-entry
Permit are not complete or provided by 9/10/2019. All participants shall
bring his/her own safety shoes for the site visit. For enquiries, please
