Programme Highlights
In line with the Government Policy to encourage the construction Industry to adopt innovation and technology to enhance productivity, cost – effectiveness and safety performance, project needs to bring together Modular Integrated Construction, Design for Manufacture and Assembly, digitalization, technology, sustainability and at the same time consider the constructability and viability will become an important part of the projectAmong them, the local mechanical and electrical engineering industry has introduced prefabricated design(DfMA), and further promote the “install before insert “approach and strengthen prefab technology to achieve the integration of manufacturing and construction in a number of engineering projects, which has significantly improved engineering efficiency.
For this Technical visit, HKIE MMNC will visit a local workshop which apply application of prefabricated parts including, MiMEP installation, firefighting services installation, hydraulic service installation and other fields, Covers projects such as prefabricated heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, installation of fire sprinkler pipes, smoke exhaust systems plantroom, and chilled water pump systems, etc.
Registration & Enquiries
The technical visit is free of charge and prior registration is required. For HKIE members, please register via the web-link. The number of participants is limited to 20 and applications will be accepted on a first‑come‑first‑served basis, with priority given to members of the HKIE MMNC. Successful registration will be notified individually. The deadline of application is 24 February 2026.
